A New Surge of Adrenalin in Monaco

In summer 2018, a new Roger Dubuis store has opened in the world-famous principality of Monaco. Over the past year, the watchmaker has been accompanied by the roar of Lamborghini engines, so it is only fitting that it should take up residence on Le Rocher – the “Rock” – an iconic luxury destination and the birthplace of the car industry.

This also brings Roger Dubuis geographically close to its partner Pirelli, which every year transforms the town with its cult weekend of pure adrenalin for motorsports enthusiasts, while offering new and exciting experiences for its clientele.

Disruptive material

Within this 27 sqm space, Roger Dubuis emphasises duality with an asymmetric beige silk rug on a polished concrete floor, walls in raw materials decorated with finely-wrought mirrors and marquetry, as well as an imposing bookcase in satin-finished American walnut opposite a window that allows light to flood in... Raw materials meet pure refinement.

Astral Skeleton

The star is a key motif for Roger Dubuis and increasingly features in its store designs. The Monte-Carlo boutique takes this a step further. Here, the star reigns in the centre of the store front as well as inside, with a combination of mirrors and star shapes echoed in the furniture.

The sleek design of the boutique celebrates space and light and can be completely rearranged to suit the decorative scheme. The key timepieces and the Motorsport collection – the Excalibur Aventador S and Excalibur Spider Pirelli – will be displayed in the store windows. A section of the boutique will be dedicated to women’s watches, while display cases with a red background built into the bookcase and the “astral” wall will showcase the masterpieces and new models to come.

The new Roger Dubuis boutique, designed in partnership with Arije, opened on 6 August on level 2 of Metropole Shopping Monte-Carlo, near the Casino.
